Although I only knew Alex for a short time she made an impact in my life. She always had a smile on her face and joked around alot. Such a polite girl and became a part of our family. She called my mom "mama"and even picked out her own food when we went grocery shopping. Alex was a good friend of my sister Ali and they hung out alot. One memory I have of Alex is when we went on a mini road trip to watch my sister's bball game. On the drive I remember listening to Miley Cyrus' "Party in the USA" over and over and singing with her. On the way back we went to Panda Express at the OHare Oasis and sat and watched the cars drive by. I lived across the street from her when I lived in Grayslake and one night there were fire trucks and police at her house because of a small fire. I called her to see if her and her dad were alright. I cared about that girl. Just like many many others in her life. Not sure what was going through her head but it's devastating and heart breaking. Alex- you will be greatly missed.
